Our Mission: The Mission of FBC Greenacres is simple: To exalt Christ and Glorify God through the living out of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Vision: The Vision of FBC Greenacres is to see our five biblical priorities of purity, worship, prayer, service, and wisdom lived out through our fellowship though extension into the community around us. If you love Jesus, are looking for a place to call your church home, and this mission and vision appeals to you, we would love to have you as part of our local fellowship. We want to help you make this important and meaningful decision by offering you as much information as possible. So the first step in joining our church is signing up for the New Beginnings class. The New Beginnings class is a four week course, where you "get-to-know" all about us and we get a learn a little about you. These sessions are fun, informative, and full of information about FBC Greenacres. All people seeking membership are required to take the New Beginning's class. In this class, you will learn about: Knowing: This first session is designed for you to learn about FBC Greenacres, and for us to learn a little about you. You will learn about our non-negotiable beliefs, details about our mission and vision, and details about the Five Biblical Priorities that make up the foundation of who we are. We will also get a chance to learn about you and your walk with Jesus. This will be a fun and informative session. Growing: The next session is designed to help you learn about the importance of bible study, prayer, true discipleship and giving. We will spend some time explaining the importance of these areas in the life of a Christian and offer helpful tips on using these areas to grow and glorify God! Connecting: The third session will be spent providing you information on how to better connect with and serve within the Kingdom of God through FBC Greenacres. This is accomplished through completing a spiritual gifts inventory, offering an overview of available ministries, offering ability to connect to available ministries, and giving an overview of ongoing educational programs throughout FBC Greenacres. Belonging: The final session is a celebratory session that includes an overview of our worship philosophy, a question and answer period, and the review and signing of the church covenant! Upon completion of the fourth session, you will officially be a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenacres!! New classes typically begin on the first Sunday of the month and run for four consecutive weeks. Contact the church office for the next available class start date!
